The exhibition is success in Kathmandu!

Visitor views exhibited photographs For three day already the visitors of KIMFF can see the exhibition in the lobby of Kathmandu City Hall (Rastriya Sabha Griha). Even before the opening ceremony of festival, hundreds of invited visitors, including media, nepalese cultural public and foreign guest, seen the exhibited photographs. To my satisfaction, the visitors expressed deep interest and studied photos carefully reading all captions. To today, the exhibition was seen by thousands of people who filled visitor's book with the dozens of passionate notes.

Kathmandu City Hall (Rastriya Sabha Griha) Even before me and few friends including Tripple Gurung of co-oranizing Manang Youth Society hanged all photos on panels, many visitors had already come to see. One of the young festival staff, originally from Manang, even came to say that his aunt was on one of the photographs my father shot in Manang.

Entrance to lobby The exhibition also got great media coverage while the Nepali daily Kantipur published story about the film festival, which was more than from it's half about exhibition only. Weekly Nepali Times also published the fullpage photostory about the exhibition.

Among other things we got preliminary offers to bring the exhibition to other mountain film festivals in Europe. We hope that this will turn success too!
